Gwaii Horizon Adventure Guides

Northwest Recreation Services offers a unique opportunity to participate in a 6-day 5-night Discovery Tour of Graham Island, the largest and most populated of the Queen Charlotte Islands.

Tours are based out of comfortable accommodations in Masset and involve daylong excursions to areas of interest around the Island exploring the natural, cultural and settlement history of the area.

Experienced local guides in conjunction with local guest speakers allow visitors to learn about this unique area and leave with a broader understanding of the conditions that make this a truly special place.

Visitors can expect to see Sandhill Cranes, Black-Tailed Deer, Bald Eagles, Black Bear, Grey Whales and an abundance of migratory and local bird species. All major stops and points of interest are covered during your visit, including many lesser known local areas.
